How to register any devices from DHCP to DNS in the same AD domain?

There is a my.test.com domain, in which the role of a DHCP server is raised on the slave domain controller, which serves not only computers but also MFPs, some services and a couple of lan 10.100.0.0 and

10.200.0.0. com , computers that are authorized in the domain automatically appear in DNS in the forward and reverse zones. (reverse for 10.200.0.0 - did not do it, is it necessary, for printers?)

Devices such as a printer - printer01, need to be dynamically registered in DNS.

It can be seen from DHCP, registrations with the printer01.my.test.com suffix, but since this device does not know how to AD, it cannot register itself in DNS either.

I wanted to transfer this task to a DHCP server, on the Microsoft website it says that you just need to include the DHCP server in the "DnsUpdateProxy" group and turn on the "" checkbox..... DHCP clients that do not require updating (for example, clients with Windows NT 4.0)"
( Use the DnsUpdateProxy security group )

But the problem is that they never register in DNS.
Where to dig? Maybe someone has a "checklist" that needs to be checked.

PS
There are non-domain linux servers, they are "reserved "via DHCP and they are also not visible in DNS. (The DHCP server does not make entries automatically)

In DNSUpdateProxy, you need to add not a DHCP server, but an AD service account
. Here is the instruction, step 3
