How to reduce website development time?

Good afternoon. I have been working in the field of website development for about 5 years. I work as a freelancer. Orders are mainly business card sites with a catalog and stores. But I still can’t put the process on stream, so that I can quickly interview the client about his wishes on the site and form a technical specification, make a design and present it with a minimum of improvements, quickly explain the task to the layout designer and programmer and that they would do it with a minimum of errors when test.
Can anyone suggest what is better to use in order to reduce the time spent in developing and communicating with the client? How does it work with other studios? There is such an office as Fabrikasaytov, where the price tag for developing a site is generally ridiculous, how do they even manage to make money on this?

Where the price tag is ridiculous - there is a conveyor. They just make websites look the same. 2-3 types of a pre-designed grid. Absolutely the same templates for news, forms, articles, product catalogs and that's it. Sometimes even the layout is the same, in fact, only a new design skin is pulled, and the server part is often completely unchanged.

I would recommend not to switch to conveyor.
The site is not a washcloth or slippers for which you can invent a machine. This is a tool in solving your client's business problems, you need to convince those who contact you that the site does not cost 5,000 rubles.
Enough to produce patterns and litter the network.
PS And yes, people have an awareness: why the site is so expensive! It just needs to be conveyed correctly.
PSS And those who managed to snatch the site on the cheap are in line with us for the development of a really working product.

1. Focus on one thing - for example, we only do stores
2. Collect a catalog of ready-made solutions for yourself (we often resell the same solutions 2-5 times)
3. Develop one universal template that will include almost everything you need to clients (within reasonable limits)
4. Try to abandon the "unique design" - do not sell design, but solutions. With design, any site can be stuck forever.

Who are the frameworks for? Develop several designs in which you will change the color schemes, the main image, the background, and some elements such as blocks.
In general, they do.

We make 70% of websites on WP. A test site has been raised with the best plugins that were selected during the work. The site and plugins are 80% configured. Plugins and engine are regularly updated. When you need to make a new site, we copy the files, the database and set it up for the client.
