Hello! there is a VK public which is mainly accessed through a google search, yandex, it is in the 2nd place in the list. The fact is that I was forced to change the short address of the public to another due to a change in the domain of the main site. Now, people who access the public through a search see a 404 error because google or yandex redirects them to the old public short address. The number of visitors is decreasing exponentially. I don’t want to change the short address back, because the new one consists entirely of the name of the main site, while the previous one had differences in names.
Question: How can I redirect people from Google to the new short address and not to the old one? Wait for indexing? I don't know much about this, but I would like to listen and find out the answer.
