How to recover xls file?

A Trojan got onto Windows, which began to eagerly encrypt files, after which the computer was urgently redeemed. But Vir managed to get into samba (which is running on a linux host) locally, and encrypt only one .xls file
. How can I restore the file?
In the hope that somewhere on the linux hard drive there was an unencrypted file, I turned to the scalpel and photorec utilities, but they do not know how to restore the xls
