How to run your own computer as an internal virtual machine?
Is it already possible to run your own computer in a virtual machine? For example, on Linux, run your own computer as a virtual machine?
Well, or a system that can keep several operating systems running at the same time and switch, say, between them, as if between desktops?
If possible, please tell me by what means?

You can't do without making copies.
You can capture a system image and run it in a virtual machine. Or install (clone) systems on different disks and connect these disks to a virtual machine.
But the hardware configuration for a system running in a virtual machine will differ from the real one.

If you have a modern Windows (7+), then yes. Vbox can link physical partitions and run a virtual machine from them.
It will not work with XP - it will fall into the bsod because of the drivers and "what did you change such a bunch of iron for me here ???".
