Did the super-distro used by Linus Torvalds break itself in half an hour of the first acquaintance?

I never used Fedora the day before yesterday I installed it, installed MySQL, then changed my mind and decided to delete it, as a result there was a trouble, I can’t show it myself, but I googled this game and HERE a person describes it one to one , like mine: that is, when deleting everything only a muscle behind the ears is attracted by the dependence of half of the distra to remove it)))

Can I demolish Fedora and not return?

ps thoughts to myself - WHAT DOES SKA LIBREOFFICE DO?

knock

@alcoholivanov

google elementary (fedora mysql), the first link leads to the Fedora's office
Removing MySQL

I suggest to remove in the following way, the most appropriate and safe way without removing many dependencies is:
sudo rpm -e --nodeps mysql-community-libs mysql-community-common mysql-community-server

So you are not supposed to use hostile software, use domestic Astra and domestic postgres

What's more - a couple of times in my centos it was such that when deleting a certain package, yum tried to delete itself :) Then he said "oh, it's me" and quickly glued the bots :)

Your link indicates that the person installed mysql not from the distribution, but directly from the site.
Therefore, the distribution kit has nothing to do with it, questions to the rpm package on the mysql.dev website
