How to recover esxi data?

We have an esxi 5.5 host.
There are several VMs on it. Snapshots were not taken. It turned out that the disk space had run out, it was useful to study it - and what I see, there are 2 files like "VM_name.vmdk" and "VM_000001.vmdk
" in good conscience "imyaVM.vmdk". Now the VM does not start, is it possible to recover a deleted file?

www.diskinternals.com/vmfs-recovery in the hope that no data has been overwritten already
