How to recover a deleted file?

Today one of the editors was updated and I decided to see what's new in it.
And it turned out that, out of habit, I pressed the keyboard shortcut that in this editor
launched to delete or clear files that have been changed, something like that.
In general, all files were deleted.
And as luck would have it, there was a file that I really need. I tried to recover files
with r-studio and recuve, but this particular file is saved as a bunch of bytes. I don't see the code,
but I see a lot of numbers.
What to do?
And yet, yesterday I had this file open in firefox without a server, from a disk. Perhaps ff stores these files somewhere?

Restore from backup.
If there is no backup, forget it.
