There is a task to write an application for Android. It should record video in the background. Those. while the user is doing something on the main screen - the video should be recorded - the video should not be displayed on the screen.
For this, as I understand it, there is a MediaRecorder class. But! It does not want to record video if we do not display a picture from the camera on the SurfaceView. And I also do not want to display a picture.
If someone worked with a similar task - share experience.
