How to quickly understand the variety of VMware products?

Good day!
Please help me understand the huge variety of VMware products.

VMware ESXi is a free software for virtualization - you can install multiple operating systems, combine multiple physical hosts with each other. VWware vSphere Client is a free ESXi

based server management software ? And if I have multiple clouds based on ESXi, how do I manage them? Run VWware vSphere Client in turn under a different cloud? I currently have a Private Cloud rented from OVH.ie, these are two physical hosts connected to each other. I understand correctly, two physical hosts are interconnected using VMware ESXi ?



I wanted to know what products are needed in order to create a backup of a virtual machine and how to deploy it? And with what product can you set up online backup of a virtual machine?
