How to quickly make masks for a series of images in Figma?

Figma has an interesting "Place Images" feature. You can select a series of images and quickly fill shape forms. But, unfortunately, vector forms are converted into raster ones during such an operation. Is it possible to do this so that the images are not cut off, but hidden by a mask for each shape? So that you can then do the framing at your discretion.
