How to put windows 8.1 on a board with UEFI?

The point is this. I bought yesterday a stone A8 7600, the mother of ASUS A88XM-A + 4gb of memory. Everything started up, but when you try to install xp, 7 or 8.1, the process freezes, i.e. the installation progress stops, the mouse cursor moves, reading from the dvd also goes. Installed Ubuntu 14.04 for the sake of experiment - everything is fine. Could it be a problem with the uefi bios? I have not dealt with desktop hardware for a long time, tell me pliz, if anyone knows.
