How to protect yourself from curious users?

They ask me to lend a laptop to look up something on the Internet. I can’t stand constantly over my head, respectively, but people, as you know, are very curious and will climb wherever they can, to find out what I’m interested in. How can you create a user in windows that can't access anything other than one browser?

Oh, you don't know how to have fun! I would put in the most prominent places multi-gigabyte deposits of porn, such as the one in which the old woman sucks off the donkey while fucking the midget with the stump of her leg. I would add to favorites a lot of links to materials about cannibalism. And auto-completion in the search fields would throw out text like "Is sexual intercourse homosexual if the partner is dead." Ave Danechka Shepovalov!

You can simply encrypt / hide folders through third-party software.

you can install a new Windows or Ubuntu, remove the boot with the correct Windows in the BIOS. or else type the windows button (between the control and the alt) + r of the tool, enter msconfig and in the download tab copy and save the correct boot on the USB flash drive, and delete the line with the main Windows.
Then just in Windows 2 go to administration-management of disks and disable the volume with the main Windows and other volumes with docks. this is if the user is not very curious. Plus, you can password-protect these volumes with third-party programs. and change the rights in the main Windows strictly to your profile (it’s dangerous, because if you can’t boot back into Windows, then you can get access at service centers, there is a good recovery experience.)
the conductor can not be banned. you do not want to use profiles with password files, as I understand it, so that people do not see that you are hiding something from him ..
in general:
installing a new Windows: with transferring files to the railway to the desired volume: 3-4 hours .
fouling: 1-2 hours, depends on the speed of the iron.
change of rights: per terabyte 2-3 hours, again depending on the iron,
dancing with the bios, reading information about the boot 1.5-2 hours.
Total hours 7-12.
Maybe experienced admins know much more adequate ways. cyberforum to help)

You can install the 'Rohos logon' program, it sets up Windows login with one-time passwords, you can issue a password to anyone, it is valid only once.
Very useful thing)

If you have such a difficult life that it is extremely necessary to share your things, then take down Windows, install and learn Linux - no one will ask for a laptop again)))
For example - I never give my tool to anyone for use !! Whether it's a laptop, an external HDD, a BOSCH screwdriver, a MAKITA electric jigsaw, a METABO punch, a NOW-NEYM screwdriver - it doesn't matter! It would be possible to draw an analogy with a male instrument - you don’t give it to someone for a while)))
