Perhaps a little strange wording of the question, but the essence is this: I have an idea for one project, I myself am a developer, i.e. writing code, etc., I will not do it, I have a programmer who is ready to help with this. But then the whole project will literally be in his hands, maybe I'm paranoid, but what's to stop him, having made the project, to throw me? How can you make sure that this situation does not happen?

An entrepreneur made an application, sales went up - and then suddenly the developers decided that they had been cheated and left, taking the source code. There is no universal way to solve the problem, but it is worth preparing for the unexpected.
About the right contracts
- If your employees develop software, make sure that employment contracts necessarily (!) Provide for the creation of so-called "service works" by them. Otherwise, the company remains without rights to the created program code.
– If the software is being developed externally, include your company's exclusivity clauses in the contract. Once agreed or received payment, you will be the legal owner of the Software. Otherwise, the contractor will be able to appropriate your development.

Trade secret regime
The disclosure of trade secret information (CT) is punishable by the Criminal Code, you can even go to jail. Use it. To do this, you will need:
- make a list of information that makes up the CT;
– restrict access to CT;
– keep a record of persons who have received access to CT;
– sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with employees and contractors;
- put the stamp "trade secret" on the documents.
Important: make backups for yourself - if they take away all the source codes, then you will have a base for recovery.
About frames
A lawyer and the right documents are the key to success. But even they do not save 100%. Honest employees who are properly motivated and satisfied with their work are much less likely to break the rules.

1. Проект делится на части мелкие. Различные части делают различные люди.
2. Вы привносите в проект дополнительную ценность, которую не может привнести программист, например, находите клиентов. ПО без клиентов, даже если оно останется у программистa - смысла лишено.
3. Вы преувеличивайте желание программиста украсть ваш код. Если это квалифицированный программист - он сейчас очень хорошо зарабатывает, полно высокооплачиваемой работы для программиста. А с вашей программой нужно еще возиться, раскручивать.
