How to protect a pdf file on a usb drive?
There is a task.
A USB flash drive with a pdf file written to it is sent to the client.
It is necessary:
- that it was impossible to copy/change the file.
Not suitable:
- any password protection (be it usb with a protective flash-memory/PDF password protection).
I see two solutions:
- creating a hidden section (pdf there) and launching it somehow from the open section; // not an option, since it will also be possible to "save as" or send to print in pdf-creator
- packaging pdf into some kind of executable file with its own PDF viewer without the ability to resave / print.
Please help in solving the problem.
Thank you.
