How to properly set up Google Display Network in this niche?

Hi all!
Imagine - a website with gift ideas .
We think like a user - we are looking for a gift for my mother (for example), I only show ads in the search, without the CCM according to the logic:
A person is looking for a gift and he needs it now ... No need to show ads in the CCM after the event...

I was looking for a gas stove, I saw it, I was shown ads for stoves for another month ... In my niche, this is not a varicose ..

BUT, I have competitors (analogue sites), I want to show ads in the Display Network only on these sites , according to the logic:
They visited it when a gift is still needed , but they are not looking for it on my site ... Therefore, it is logical to place my ad on it ...
Question: How to show ad units in the Google Display Network only on the specified list of sites. ..
Thanks in advance!

Google has the option of placement targeting , where you can specify specific sites where you want your ads to appear. But are you sure that these competitors are placing Google ads on their sites? Rarely commercial sites earn extra money at the expense of ad units.
You can additionally create Special intent audiences , in which, instead of the usual keywords, set brand names and website addresses of competitors. In this case, ads will be shown to users who were interested in these competitors.
