Working with color

How to properly set up color management in graphics programs?

Hello
I watched a video from Linda.com on color management. They advised in the color management settings in Photoshop to set the profile of your monitor instead of sRGB (I have a Dell u2311h). As a result, every time I paste something into a working file, it is converted to sRGB -> Dell u2311h.
Is this the right thing to do when designing a website? It turns out that my color profile will be embedded in the source file.
For example, to publish pictures on the Internet, I do Save for Web without any profile (as advised in the lessons). But what to do with the source? After all, they will have a built-in profile of my monitor, and the customer has a different monitor.
Thanks in advance.

@Masterme

wrong, should be done in sRGB. because then your pictures will be cut and saved as jpg, without any information about the profile. that is, while drawing, you should see the same colors that the site visitor will see in the layout.
