How to properly prepare for reading the book "Java Philosophy"?
I'm reading Java Philosophy by Eckel. There are a lot of references to the C++ language in the book, I have no idea about this language and for me these references are completely meaningless. I can't figure it out, is it necessary to read C++ Philosophy to prepare for reading Java Philosophy? But in the C++ philosophy, I suspect there will be references to some other programming language (eg C)? And so this tangle can be unraveled all my life? Please tell me how to do it right - do not pay attention to links or to prepare, you need to read some more books and if you need to read, then which ones?
