How to properly organize an SVN repository?
Hello.
There is a hosting, there are now a lot of sites and web applications.
At the moment, it was necessary to write a web service, I will be developing more than one, so it was advised to use SVN, but I have never worked with it and have not come across it.
Installing SVN on shared hosting did not end with success, support said, they say, you can’t, take VPS, do whatever you want there ....
Now there is SSH and FTP access.
I also read that there is a special SVN hosting ...
Please advise how to organize all this correctly?
Thanks in advance.

don't take it as sarcasm, but like this:
> apt-get install git
if you don't want to bother register at https://bitbucket.org/plans You can create a private repository (see default repository options public) and share with 5 people
also have a look at gitlab.com can also host private repositories for free,
or if it's not a pity, then for a fee on github.com
