How to properly model this session logic?

There is such a task: to
implement a universal order module for different types of sites (order form, login, dashboard).
at the moment this module works as an iframe insert that accepts orders with domain binding. how to implement sessions in this case (so that the dashboard does not crash on reboot)? I'm thinking about the option to store data in localStorage, but have not yet come across such implementations.
