How to properly install Ubuntu-MATE on a laptop?
Hello helper. I decided to put Ubuntu-Mate next to Windows. I rolled the image onto the flash drive with Etcher and selected it in the BIOS. Everything seems to be fine: the shell started up, chose the installation language, etc. But when connected to a Wifi access point, the endless download is stupidly spinning on the mouse and that's it. If you ignore this moment, then the same thing happens after choosing which software to install (immediately after Wifi comes).
UPDATE. Krch. It's just laying the image. It's just that after a while the flash drive does not respond and the whole image hangs. How to fix it?

Is it possible to connect to the Internet with a cable? There is a possibility that there are no necessary drivers in Ubuntu for your wi-fi card. Have you tried waiting? Type the lspci
command in the terminal , find Network controller: [something there] in the output and google how things are with firewood in the distribution.
