And now I wanted to know how to correctly form the architecture, is it better to contact the database directly through Node js, but this cannot be done, in the old guides there is a call to the database through the browser on bare Electron js, but now for some reason it does not work because to. Node js components do not see the Mysql component, and it remains the option to raise a separate server on Express to access the database via the Rest API, in this option you will have to run this server separately or with one of the applications every time, checked it works and both with Vuex.

The question is, is it better to do it as in the first option directly or through the Rest API, or are there other options
