How to print on 3M film?

There is a piece of 3M SCOTCHCAL 50 film (Self-Adhesive), I wanted to throw it away, but then I thought that I could draw something on it and stick it on the system unit. And so the question arose: what can be printed on it?
At home there is an inkjet hp, on which the pictures even turn out quite well. What if you try to print a picture on film? How does this threaten the printer and film?

But what if you try to dig out a matrix printer in the bins? And stir up something in the style of ASCII-art on it? IMHO, it should look good.

It is necessary to print on such a film with silk-screen printing. It does not absorb and is intended for use, including on the street (stickers on cars, for example, or signs).
From home remedies - you can draw graffiti with a marker -))

Solvent ink is possible, only they are for huge prom. printers. You can use alcohol ink, but then it is better to laminate with a transparent film (number 0 in the Oracal catalog)

the printer does not threaten anything, except for "getting dirty" and then you have to drive about 7 sheets of sheets to wash off.
I usually printed on a direct-feed laser printer
