How to print borderless in word 2007?

when printing to Word 2007, it prints a cropped sheet onto the sheet, that is, the content of the sheet goes beyond the printed one, how to make it print without margins? i.e. cut off the sides.
in general did so - converted to pdf and printed, but the question is whether it is possible as a thread without conversion in the Word format?

It seems to me that you need to check the paper size of the document (on the "Page Layout" ribbon - "size"). Must match the sheet to be printed on. (i.e. if it is A4, then A4 must also be set).
But as far as I know, if you change the size of an already typed and made up document, then the layout often moves around, so the option with preliminary conversion to PDF is not so bad.

You already decide on the terminology.
"Borderless printing" means printing content from edge to edge of the physical sheet.
On most printers, by the way, in principle it is impossible - at least 5 millimeters along the edges of the sheet cannot be used for printing due to the structure of the sheet-feed mechanism.
If you are faced with the fact that your content goes beyond the boundaries of the sheet when printing, you need to do the following (for Word 2007, later versions have a different algorithm):
1. open Word with a problematic document
2. in the ribbon, go to the "Page Layout" tab "
3. find the "Size" button, click on it, there may be Letter 21.59 cm x 27.97 cm, or Kosher A4 21 cm x 29.7 cm, or something else. If you print on A4 - make sure that A4 is there, if not - put it on and try to print.
ATTENTION! Due to the change in the size of the sheet, the formatting of the text may "float"! Especially if it is done, as usual, with spaces and extra lines.
Alternatively, you can try to avoid this if you do not change the size of the document sheet, but scale it using Word's tools:
- leave the page size different from the output A4 unchanged
- go to the print dialog, for example, by pressing Ctrl + P
- in in the print dialog at the bottom right on the OK and Cancel buttons in the "Scale" group in the drop-down list "
- as a result, the document will be scaled, the format, most likely, will not float - but you need to check it anyway
4. If when creating new documents their default size is also not A4, it makes sense to set A4 as the default size, as follows:
- in any document, press Ctrl-F2 to switch to preview mode
- in the preview ribbon, find the "Size" button, click on it
- in the menu that opens, click on "Other page sizes" at the very end, a dialog will open
- set A4 to top drop-down list "paper size"
- in the lower left corner there is a "default" button, click it, then click "Yes" in the dialog that appears
- now all new documents (based on the normal.dot template) will be created in A4 format
BUT! All this is not entirely correct, because. the vast majority of these problems do not exist, regardless of the selected document format, and all because the printer driver usually automatically scales everything larger than A4 down so that problems like yours do not happen. It does not work for you, and you, in fact, assigned this function to PDF. Yes, if you follow the above recommendations, you will (1) be able to change the paper size of any document to A4, and (2) all future documents created on your PC will also be in A4. However, if you get a file from someone with a different sheet format - and this happens often, because. everyone usually scales everything by itself, and no one bothers with it - you will again have problems when printing, and you will have to change the paper size of the document again.
What to do? Go to the printer settings:
- in any document, press Ctrl + P to go to the print dialog
- at the top, to the right of the drop-down list in which the printer is selected, there is a "Properties" button, click on it
- the printer driver settings window will open
- here you in free swimming, tk. they are different for each printer, but for me, for example, in this window there are items "sheet size" (corresponds to the sheet size of the printed document) and "output sheet size" (set by the user). For example, if your document is not A4, you can set the output size to A4 and the printer driver will scale it for you. I have two features:
-- this setting is not remembered, in order to perform scaling by default, you need to create a profile and save these settings there
-- !! regardless of whether I turned on scaling or "forgot", I still scale everything to A4, such a smart printer :)
Apparently, everything is different for you - explore, go for it.

@Kvarkas

only photo printers with this option can print without margins, and the page settings, respectively, should not have margins
