How to prevent corporate Windows 8 from upgrading to Windows 8.1?
We have a computer with Windows 8 corporate installed.
Stable, once a week a message pops up that "You can upgrade to version 8.1 for free"
When you try to upgrade, an error occurs and sends to the administrator.
As it turned out, you can update only from the disk.
Question: How to update without resorting to reinstallation? Or how can I prevent the system from giving me these messages if I don't want to update?
Tried disabling system update - did not help.
Reinstalling is not an option. Too lazy to set up the software again, and there is no time for this.
