How to prevent an android program from changing the functions of the volume buttons?

The point is simple. When photos are open in x-plore, the volume keys are responsible for rewriting the pictures, which means I can’t change the music volume from the player. And in the explorer mode, the "+" button also does not increase the volume, it is sharpened a step back. Sometimes it really bothers and upsets, because the buttons are not disabled in the settings (as for the camera, for example)

It is much less convenient to use other explorers to work with files.

What can you suggest? How to change the behavior of the keys: change something in the application itself (open the code) or in deep android settings?
