Is there an alternative to Mediametrics with customizable news sources?

The Mediametrics service shows the rating of news by frequency of mention in social networks. But it doesn't have a media source setup, making the entire top a little more than 100% made up of RT, Linus, Vestey, and NTV. Does this service have an analogue (preferably an android application) that would track the top most mentioned news from custom sources in order to create your own feed and read the loudest news from real media.

There is also an analogue that is not heavily spammed by the above sources, but it is not customizable.
