Recently, I started to get interested in such competitions as Google Kick Start, I got the idea, by all means, to get into this topic as quickly as possible in order to show at least some results at such events at least in a couple of years, I write in C# for about 2 months . C++ is usually used more often, I think. But it is better to know a less efficient language well than to know an efficient one poorly. The main thing is a good algorithm.
Also keep in mind that the mono compiler is used everywhere for C #, and not the .net core.
