How to prepare a psd layout for an iOS(iPhone) application?

Hello friends
Please tell me articles in which you can read about the features of preparing a psd layout when developing a mobile application design for iphone, I must admit that I already found one entertaining article on Habré, but there are more features, I need a tutorial for absolute beginners.
Layout dimensions, pixel density, where to find out the sizes of standard iOs interface elements, how to group layers, I need to prepare a layout for programmers, I want to be on the level. Thanks everyone!

I was convinced from my own experience that raster graphics are bad here, it's best to immediately start doing everything in vector and there will be no problems with size and density.
And about the standard elements, everything is not so simple. Better make a selection of types of applications and go ahead. Also, the developers themselves will tell you which things are standard and which are not.

I can say that a developer does not need a PSD at all. The developer should not cut elements, etc. Everything must be done by the designer. And in order to understand what are standard elements and what are not, just use iphone :)) And of course you need to download guideline psd for ios. Almost all standard elements are already there.
As for working in vector, this is a personal matter for everyone. In general, you just do everything for retina and there are no problems, this is not Android which has 100500 resolutions and screen formats :)

In terms of a set of standard elements, these guys have a good idea: www.teehanlax.com/tools
but it's better for developers to give .png with sintering and ready-made cuts, they don't need .psd.
