How to power a hard drive from a powerbank?

I want to power a 3.5 hard drive from a powerbank 5v / 2.1A through a molex directly through a voltage converter.
Which converter is better suited and how beautifully can everything be done?
upd didn't work =(

two voltages are supplied through the "molex" - 5 and 12 volts
