How to paste a string into a text field from the clipboard in IMACROS?

I do this - the field remains empty

SET !VAR1 {{!CLIPBOARD}}
TAG POS=1 TYPE=INPUT:TEXT FORM=ID:champ ATTR=ID:url CONTENT={{!VAR1}}

If you assign a string value to the variable VAR1, then the insertion occurs correctly. How to paste from clipboard?
