How to paint a rough metal case?

You need affordable paint and that it holds well and does not chip. Perhaps the body needs initial processing, what would you advise?
Here are pictures of the case so you can see what I'm dealing with

“Affordable paint is needed and that it holds well and does not chip off”
Let the mechanical engineer speak:
We forget about spray cans right away - it scratches and peels off easily.
From available:
HAMMERITE or domestic Poly-R.
Very durable paints. No soil required.
It is enough to walk with sandpaper.
And acetone is the best degreaser.

well, as usual - several layers of primer, and then a few more layers of paint / spray can already taste and color.

There is such a thing as " hammer enamel ", they are different, there are those that can be painted on non-primed and not very prepared surfaces. The layer is not very thin, visually it also looks quite peculiar, but it keeps perfectly and fuss is at least.

Powder, as far as I know, is the most durable, but it also has a very complicated process - baking in an oven at a certain temperature, a certain amount of time. But in general, nothing is better for cases.
