Where to start prototyping a PC case?

Hello toster users. I would like to ask you for advice.
Not so long ago, I had a burning desire to make my own case for a PC.
And then I ran into a problem: How to make a prototype case?
That is, what programs exist for this?
Software requirements:
1) OS X support .
2) Ability to create a graphic prototype (visualization of the idea).
3) A program for creating a prototype drawing.
I haven’t thought about the manufacturing method yet, but I heard that many order cutting on a CNC machine.
It is also interesting what comes out in terms of money and what other ways exist that are acceptable in terms of price / quality ratio, of course, preferably cheaper.
Maybe I did not quite correctly put it, I apologize in advance, since I have not encountered this before.
Thanks in advance.

For macOS, I can recommend Blender . There is also Vectorworks, but IMHO it is very overloaded. Most of the rest of the cad-systems are tailored to the architecture. You can mention Autocad for Mac.
