How to overtake competitors in the TOP in Google search results?

Hello.
I found that competitors are in the TOP on the first page, but my promoted site is not, it is on the second page in Google.
Monitored competitors for technical optimization (technical audit through Screaming Frog), they also have nuances in almost all indicators. I ran them through ahrefs - not quite powerful link profiles, I would even say so myself.
But for some reason they are in the TOP on the 1st page of Google, but my site is not.

What could be the matter and where to dig?
Many thanks in advance for any advice)

A very general question:
1. How old is the site? If recently appeared, it may be in the sandbox. If the sites of competitors are old, then they have an advantage and a very significant one.

2. With the help of this program it is impossible to make a complete technical audit. Have you looked at site indicators using this software from the search console and Google analytics?
I ran them through ahrefs - not quite powerful link profiles, I would even say so myself.

3. They can use drop domains. Then their ahrefs may not see. Moreover, this is not a reason not to work with your own reference mass.
4. Look at the speed of your competitors and your pagespeed, the number of pages in the index.

No matter how trite it may sound, but the quality of the content plays an important role. Although this is more typical for Yasha, no one has canceled the behavioral ones.
