How to override default class in Bootstrap or Zurb?

For example, I'm typing on one of these tools, and I have such a design in zurb

<div class="large-3  medium-3 small-5 columns"></div>

and I want the class small-5 on a screen less than 500 pixels to become small-12, can this be done?

I don't know about zurb, but in bt here all breakpoints are overridden by getbootstrap.com/customize/#media-queries-breakpoints
