How to organize work with two networks?
Good day, ladies and gentlemen. Faced a lack of networking knowledge, never worked with more than one network before. But now there was a need to introduce a second network, because all the IP from the first network ended.
Task:
-To make it possible to connect more than 256 nodes to the network;
-New devices should be given IP through dskhp, old ones have statics.
- Devices must be able to connect to servers.
- Devices can operate in both open and closed networks.
Given:
2 networks, 2 routers (one specialized for a secure network, the second for an open one).
The network looks something like this:
Question: How can I make network 1.68.0.0\24 see network 1.68.2.0\24? Some of the hosts on the 1.68.0.0\24 network have 1.68.0.245 as the gateway. Because of this, some of the nodes from the network 1.68.2.0\24 apparently do not respond. DHCP is configured but not working. DHCP is set to range 1.68.2.0\24. How would you advise to solve the problem quickly? What materials can be studied?
