How to organize the sending of letters from both VPS and Mail.ru interface for a domain?

There is a VPS with VestaCP, a domain is bought, connected to mail for the domain from mail.ru, users with mailboxes like [email protected] are created.
Let's assume that there will be a small online store with orders and real people)
I want to:
1. use the familiar mail.ru web interface for correspondence with customers
2. use the same mail addresses for mailing to the current customer base, but send with VPS, t .to. there are no restrictions on sending letters (as on mail.ru)
Domain mail works, letters go from the mail.ru web interface to mailboxes, answers come, everything is fine with that.
1. What needs to be done in order to be able to send via your own smtp server to Exim from the same mail addresses? Setting up DNS records?
2. Can this be arranged at all? Or is this idea stupid, because, for example, mail can go either from mail.ru or only from VPS?

This is a note from 2018, probably still working. Change the settings from Yandex to mail and it can take off.

There are two options here:
- First: you either refuse VestaCP or Mail.ru
- Second: you use the solution on VestaCP, but the web interface from Mail.ru ( account.mail.ru , but I'm not sure if this function)
