How to organize such a backup mechanism?
There is a server on ubuntu on which the site is spinning, users upload files to the server, they are added to a folder. It is required to backup this folder with files without using the cloud. Please direct me. The system is seen as follows. There is a computer on Windows, for example, or network storage, on which a folder will be shared where copies will be added. Now, in some way, we mount this folder on the server and synchronize 2 folders in one direction, i.e. changes in the folder for copies do not affect the original folder in any way, and the daemon that sits on the server and when the system is not loaded tries to make 2 folders the same, i.e. if the file in the original is deleted, then it is also deleted in the copy; if it is created, then it also appears in the copy. If I sit and manually delete files from the copy, they will appear there again)). I don't want to use clouds. Volume of the order of a terabyte. If there is no connection between the computers, then everything stops until the connection appears. What programs, how to mount a folder from a Windows machine to Linux, and in general can it do something differently? Tell me please
