How to organize reliable upload from 1c to a web server via FTP?

Good afternoon, we are working on an online store for car dismantling, a question arose about the reliable transfer of product catalog updates.
On the old site, the exchange is now organized as follows:

  • Spare parts are entered, changed, deleted in 1C.
  • There can be balance updates for 100 products per day on average.
  • 1c at a client on a Windows Server in the office. A site on VPS from a hosting provider.
  • From 1C, XML unloading to a folder has been set up. There, every 10 minutes, an XML file with changes is uploaded and once a week a full upload without photos.

Strange Legacy
FROM the folder to the site, updates get in a strange way. There is some kind of software on the Windows server that sends all the files to the developer's personal server of the old site, from there the files are already sent to the web server folder, where they are parsed into the database via CRON. All this is sent with large delays.
The developer could not explain why this was done and disappeared. But his server is still working))) But from time to time the data disappears, pictures do not fall on the site, etc.
I think to do this:
So far, from a simple and reliable, it occurred to me - this is to add the entire upload (XML + photo) from 1C to a local folder on Windows Server and then move it according to the schedule every 15 minutes to a network folder (connected via FTP as a network drive ) on the VPS server, the contents of which are parsed by the script and update the site database.
Since I don’t think it’s good to upload directly to a network drive, 1C will complete the task for a long time and in the event of a failure on the web server, data may be lost.
Maybe there are some other solutions for importing to the site. Simple and reliable, without unnecessary links.
