Greetings.

Tell me how you can organize the broadcast / access to the music collection on a home server (Windows Server) published on the Internet?

I want to listen from a working computer (access through a proxy), as well as an iPhone / iPad (3G / Wi-Fi).

Online services (class 4Sync, Dropbox) do not want to use.

I think Plex will suit you , everything that you wrote it supports. I use it myself, I really like it.

And take a closer look at subsonic - it also knows how to do all of the above, there are clients for mobile platforms, it can transcode, it is cross-platform.
