How to optimize Windows on HDD with a small SSD?

In many modern laptops, a small SSD drive is also installed in addition to a large HDD.
The size of the SSD is not enough to install the system on it. Manufacturers say that it works like a cache and to speed up recovery from hibernation. How to organize it yourself?
The Windows 7 hibernation file can only be located on the system partition .
How can you use an SSD drive to optimize system performance?

Corsair has a series of drives, "Accelerator series". The drive comes with software that transfers part of the data to the SSD. Unfortunately, I did not go into the details of the work, but according to the description, this is exactly what you are looking for.

What is the size of the carrier? desktop seven, office, codecs / flash / java / browser and their caches fit into 32 gigabytes - if a netbook, this is quite enough for work

Personally, I always use an SSD drive to install the system and often open programs for quick boot.
PS: you can't defragment it, because it's already under optimized. If you frequently defragment it, then it will be subject to rapid wear.
