How to open "tif" cards with "tfw" binding?

Good afternoon! We sent maps (*.tif files) with reference to coordinates (*.tfw files). Tell me how to open them.
Costs OS Windows XP
Themselves file: map + coordinates

Just to see - GlobalMapper, for example.
The only problem is that the coordinate system is unknown. It may be a local system, but transferring from one to another is another story.
