How to open files through Midnight Commander in Windows?

1) How to open files through Midnight Commander in Windows?

2) MC starts programs synchronously - waits for its completion. How to change its behavior so that it does not freeze?
I'm using conemu as console, but cmd has the same problem.

Something is not clear about the connection 1 with 2. So do your files / programs open or not?
As for waiting for completion. What? GUI programs or Console subsystem?
If it's a GUI, then on Windows, "start" is used for this. If it doesn't work in mc - use cmd as a wrapper. For example
