How to open a hidden folder in Linux terminal?

I searched the entire network and found absolutely nothing. Everywhere they write about saying that to see a hidden folder, type ls -a, but they don’t say how to open it through the TERMINAL . Please, help.

There are no "hidden folders" in Linux, just names starting with a dot - by default they are not shown in the list. Made to hide service data.
What does "OPEN" mean?
maybe come in?
then use cd - change directory
