How to move taskbar in linux mint?

Looking for a way to move the taskbar to the left. Just switched to Linux Mint 17.1 from Windows 7.

Right click on the panel. A menu will open in which you press "Properties" and in the "Panel Properties" dialog that opens, on the "General" tab, in the "Location" switch, choose where you want to place the panel.
