How to move a Git repository from one folder to another?

The git repository is located in the labs folder . This is where I saved the lab versions when I made them.
Now I am doing the second laboratory and I understand that it is logical to create a separate repository for each lab.
How to move Git repository from labs folder to 2 ? Ideally, to transfer only those commits that relate to the second lab. To manage Git, I use commands in the console.
PS Perhaps, when describing the question, I made a mistake in terms, logic. I would be grateful if they correct me.
