How to mount a Samsung mp3 player in MacOS X 10.7.4?

Macbook point-blank refuses to recognize my old Samsung YP-K3 player.

Disk Utility sees it as a device, but thinks it's unformatted.
In the /dev folder, the disk appears (as /dev/disk3).

mount -t msdos /dev/disk3 ~/mydisk

also doesn't work.

However, the device seems to be recognized as a drive:
$ diskutil info /dev/disk3

conclusion
Device Identifier: disk3
Device Node: /dev/disk3
Part of Whole: disk3
Device / Media Name: SAMSUNG YP-K3 Media

Volume Name:
Escaped with Unicode:

Mounted: No

File System Personality: MS-DOS FAT32

Device Block Size: 512 Bytes

Read-Only Media: No
Read-Only Volume: Not applicable (not mounted)

The player, to put it mildly, is not new; recognized by other systems without problems.

Does anyone know how this can be treated or at least supposedly what could be the problem?

Thanks in advance.

I didn’t work with maoxyu, but still - maybe something is wrong with the kernel module for veil? They write that it comes in a default delivery, but maybe it didn’t reach? )
I found on the Internet that kextstat shows a list of loaded kernel modules - do you have a driver for veil there?

It seems to be in place . And with ordinary flash drives (which are also in fat32) it works without problems. I wonder if it could be that the player is "too slow" for the usb ports in the macbook?
$ kextstat | grep msdos
131 2 0xffffff7f80791000 0xc000 0xc000 com.apple.filesystems.msdosfs (1.7.1) <7 5 4 1>
