How to mount a Samsung mp3 player in MacOS X 10.7.4?
Macbook point-blank refuses to recognize my old Samsung YP-K3 player.
Disk Utility sees it as a device, but thinks it's unformatted.
In the /dev folder, the disk appears (as /dev/disk3).
mount -t msdos /dev/disk3 ~/mydisk
$ diskutil info /dev/disk3

I didn’t work with maoxyu, but still - maybe something is wrong with the kernel module for veil? They write that it comes in a default delivery, but maybe it didn’t reach? )
I found on the Internet that kextstat shows a list of loaded kernel modules - do you have a driver for veil there?
It seems to be in place
. And with ordinary flash drives (which are also in fat32) it works without problems.
I wonder if it could be that the player is "too slow" for the usb ports in the macbook?
$ kextstat | grep msdos
