How to mount a samba disk in Windows transparently (as a local device, not a network share)?

There is a smb ball in the local network, I need to mount it on a Windows machine, it doesn’t matter if it is a separate disk or folder. By standard means, the device is mounted as a network drive and some software refuses to work with it, I need the drive to be recognized as local. Can anyone come across and know the software / driver for such a fraud?

What came to mind. Mount as a network drive, and make a symlink to it on a regular drive.
