How to monitor network resources visited by users on the gateway?

Gateway on ubuntu 14.04. The task is to track where people go on the Internet. Interested in the same time spent on certain sites. Are there any ready-made developments? Maybe someone is ready to share or has already done it?

We put squid (proxy server) and fasten lightsquid (on 14.04 it is installed directly from the repository). If you don't like lightsquid, look at analogues (sarg for example).
If you just want to see network activity, try iftop/iptraf.
For protocol statistics - bandwidthd.
