How to monitor IP availability?

What would you recommend for monitoring an IP address, so that it draws graphs, deploys on ubuntu, could it be desirable to check the route like mtr, and not huge, like zabbix?

Come on, google the Linux graphical ping monitoring tool . I have used nagios and munin with a plugin.
